You can use the search box at the top to find specific movies.
Or use the Coming Soon (movies not yet released in theatres)
and Now Playing (movies that have been released) sections, to the left.
Step 3: The difference between Streaming and Downloadable trailers
Before you click the "Quicktime Trailer" link, put your mouse over it, and look at the URL listed.
If it ends with .html, then it is a streaming trailer, and you can simply click the link to load the trailer.
If it ends with .mov, then it is a Direct Link and should be saved (to your computer) before viewing.
To do this, right-click the link, and choose "Save", or "Save Target As..."
When the download has completed, click the Open button, or open the file through your Quicktime Player.
Newly listed trailer are also marked.
Direct links will have filesize and dimensions listed - (30 MB)(640x480)
While streaming trailers will only list the dimenstions - (640x480)
Terms:
Here are a few terms that may be confusing to new users.
Teaser - a short preview of the movie, usually about a minute or less with very little plot revealed.
Trailer - a preview for the movie, usually about 2:30 minutes.
TV Spot - a cut-down (30 or 15 second) television commercial for the movie.
Featurette - a "Behind-The-Scenes" look at the movie. Usually includes interviews and clips.
High Definition
High definition trailers are much higher quality than the usual Quicktime versions. They are recorded using new MPEG4 compression, are true 24 frames per second, and sometimes include 5.1 audio. The 3 HD sizes usually available are 480p, 720p and 1080p. The number refers to the video's height in pixels, while the p stands for progressive (24 frames per second).
